ABOUT

"Little Ditty Doodles" CD June 11 and 12 recorded in Nashville, Tennessee with top session players in country music.  Before writing music for Little DD, I had intentions to record a jazz cd in Maryland.  I have always enjoyed listening and playing jazz with combos, etc.  However, Living near Nashville for 14 years I decided to do a country EP.

ABOUT

Days of Praise Band CD release of "Worship City" the music was recorded in 2010 but manufactured and released in 2011.  Days of Praise Band were an established gospel and praise band by the time I joined in 2008.  I had formed a local band in Nashville named Testify, a soul and Motown, jazz rock band before Days of Praise Band.  Although Testify was short lived I had the pleasure working with talented musicians and singers, and enjoyed gigs at Belmont University and other venues around Nashville.  Days of Praise Band was lead by Rigel Russell, an excellent guitarist, engineer, producer and singer. Next to Rigel's leading was Gloria Jones who has an incredible voice and great worshipper.  DOPB played at churches, a women's shelter in Nashville, Nashville Rescue Mission, local gospel festivals, Nashville Prison, etc.

ABOUT

Mordecai release of "Return to the Banquet", an independent Christian rock CD recorded at various independent studios in Nashville.  Sometime late in 2000

I was talking to Doug, a friend from several years back when we both lived in Indianapolis, about collaborating on a musical project.  Back in Indy I was playing

in Rhythm Mission and Doug was writing his own music, but we never worked together up to 2000.  I co-wrote songs with Doug by providing the drum beats and patterns to the lyrics.  Doug would co-write with the melody from chords on the acoustic guitar.  The song "Pressing On" I started writing the music while playing piano and then writing lyrics.  I wanted the music to have a '70s vibe to it with electric solos and the Hammond B3 sounds to syncopated and odd time rhythms.

ABOUT

Rhythm Mission various recordings from practices, independent, as well as professional recording studios.  Rhythm Mission was founded on the songwriting talents

of Steve Wills and Eric Brown.  Steve a very gifted multi-instrumentalist especially guitars and mandolin, along with

his songwriting abilities was a catalyst with Eric's singing and songwriting.  The music of Rhythm Mission was Americana

with a twist.  It was like John Mellencamp meets Dire Straights. There was a lot of energy between the band's five members, and when we played live we accentuated that energy to

our audiences.

THE HEART OF RHYTHM

DRUM WORKSHOPS

Express emotion of joy in playing drums! Stimulating the senses

are positive steps down the road

to recovery.

"My approach is not teach persons of TBI and other related injuries to learn how to play drums, but allowing them to express their joy and happiness with rhythms."

"Another reason to help those with brain injuries is for developing hand foot coordination, and increasing their fine motor skills."

"The expression...

a painting is worth a 1000 words, and the world I call a 'canvas' people everywhere have a rhythm of soul.  So express oneself through drum rhythms as

a way of rhythm

of life."
